Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Manager, Inside Sales in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description

The Manager of Inside Sales oversees sales and operations, targeting growth in all applicable areas of East Street Insurance Direct Agency . This includes oversight and management, as well as recruiting of all East Street employees. They are responsible for building out and implementing the operational infrastructure and processes of East Street Insurance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Recruits, coaches, directs, and provides leadership for East Street Direct Agency.

  • Participates in overall strategy for growth of East Street Insurance.

  • Guides and coordinates account and policy growth activities for East Street Direct.

  • Guides daily activities, staffing and expansion for East Street Direct Agency.

  • Provides oversight of lead generation and associated marketing activity

  • Leads and manages a team of insurance sales agents to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.

  • Provides ongoing coaching, training, and mentorship to improve team members' sales skills and product knowledge.

  • Monitors individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.

  • Sets individual sales targets and create incentive plans to motivate the team.

  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure smooth policy processing and customer service.

  • Analyzes sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance regulations and company policies.

  • Prospect lead generation partnership opportunities with charitable organizations.

Knowledge and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent that preferably includes business or insurance courses.

  • 3+ years of previous insurance experience.

  • 2+ years of managerial experience.

  • Must possess an Indiana and ability to quickly acquire an Ohio Agent’s Property and Casualty license.

  • Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective in a variety of communication and presentation settings.

  • Ability to prioritize and direct resources.

  • Ability to manage an independent sub-function within a broader division structure.

  • Ability to be well-organized and work autonomously.

  • Ability to collaborate across divisions in the organization.

  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media strategies for lead generation.
