As a Commercial Underwriting Intern you will:
Consolidate and improve our SharePoint.
Consolidate and update workflows making them more intuitive.
Investigate and research classes of business and the resulting claims in order to improve our underwriting and propose guidelines.
Find a more innovative approach to reviewing large losses and explore that as a project to be completed.
Interact with commercial policies.
Be given decision-making authority and the opportunity to investigate, communicate, etc.
We are looking for students majoring or minoring in Business related majors, Finance, Risk Management & Insurance or have an interest in underwriting or insurance.
