Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Commercial Lines Underwriting Case Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana
Description
We are looking for someone who can:
Review submissions for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility to determine the appropriate writing company for risk placement.
Evaluate risk according to underwriting guidelines and experience to recommend risk improvement and/or loss control measures to achieve the appropriate rate for the risk.
Provide ongoing customer service directly to agents and clients.
Bind and process new and renewal business with Rural-approved writing companies.
Complete transactions and financial data requirements in the system.
Perform data analysis to properly determine coverage requirements and place risk with writing companies.
Actively monitor and track quoting and binding activity through completion.
Collaborate with the team, department, and agency.
Assist agents with direct access to carrier and broker sites/systems.
Clean up and enter transactional data.
Requirements for success:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience.
2 years of insurance experience. Property & Casualty Insurance license required.
Ability to learn Company product portfolio.
Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to develop familiarity with IFBI processing systems as assigned.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in both written correspondence and verbal communication.
Willingness and demonstrated ability to collaborate with underwriting team members and agents.
