Our organization is evolving; culturally, physically and technologically. With our new open workspace and technology transformation, we need a self-motivated Part-Time Business Support Specialist.

Dedicating 25 - 29 hours per week, you will work with a small, experienced team that provides tier 2 support to our employees. You will assist in creating, supporting and maintaining a complex technology environment consisting of, but not limited to, laptops, desktops, thin clients and virtualization.

 You’ll be involved with:

  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting difficult issues to resolve issues.
  • Providing configuration and support for new and existing end user devices onsite and off-site.
  • Installation and configuration of software on end user devices.
  • Prioritizing critical issues and escalating to appropriate technical staff.
  • Assisting teammates on projects, as needed.
  • Educating customers through the process of problem resolution.

     Requirements
    • An Associate’s degree in a Technology related program or equivalent work experience
    • Network+, A+, or other technical certification
    • Knowledge of PC hardware and mobile device hardware and software
    • Proven experience with Microsoft Windows, Office, Exchange/Outlook and client/server application support
    • Basic understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, LAN/WAN, and mainframe systems.
    • A working knowledge of networking and security concepts
    • Ability and mobility to move and install PC related hardware
