As we continue enhancing our services to our customers, our needs for various technology and digital needs rise as well.  Currently we're looking for an experienced Digital and Social Media Content guru.   The primary focus of this role is to curate, manage and produce high quality, engaging, highly shareable content for our digital and social channels.

This person will work alongside internal design and marketing teams as well as agency teams to create new and leverage existing assets for digital and social marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will be self motivated with a passion for all things digital – especially social. This person should be forward-thinking and confident in bringing new ideas to the table.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Work as part of a cross-functional team to produce high quality, engaging, shareable content that is on-brand and original for our website and social channels
  • Create consumable short-form content (gif/short-form video)
  • Create content strategy and manage weekly content calendars in collaboration with other departments within IFBI ensuring company’s social and digital content needs are fulfilled on-time and on-brand
  • Schedule and post all social content for both corporate account and our network of agents using Hootsuite and Hootsuite Amplify
  • Perform community management for IFBI social profiles to engage likers, identify potential influencers and monitor  engagement flagging/escalating any potential issues that may arise
  • Monitor competition and using social listening to identify trends, issues and opportunities within the digital space
  • Track results of campaigns using analytics tools and draw meaningful conclusions from the metrics
  • Stay aware of new developments and trends within social and digital channels
  • This role will also be responsible for creating landing page content to support social and display campaigns
  • Measure and report on performance of digital campaigns
     

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Creative Writing, Communications or Journalism preferred
  • 3-5 years of directly related experience required
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills with a strong command of spelling, punctuation and grammar
  • Highly organized with an attention to detail
  • Highly adaptable to changing technologies – able to adapt to current trends as well as any shifts in focus within the industry and/or company
  • Several years experience with Hootsuite Enterprise
  • Understanding of all aspects of digital and social media content production and publishing including, but not limited to the following: HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Illustrator, web/social analytics, basic video and sound editing
  • Familiarity with publishing content within a CMS
  • Must be able to work independently or collaboratively and able to problem solve
    independently

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Javascript, video editing, sound editing
  • Familiarity with Insurance / Financial Services industry a bonus
