Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Total Loss Representative in Indianapolis, Indiana
We are looking for someone that can:
Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and conclude total loss claims. .
Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, laws, statutes and insurance regulations when conducting investigations and determining coverage.
Complete all aspects from total loss determination through settlement of assigned total loss claims.
Initiate contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to explain the overall total loss claims process.
Confirm all options, conditioning, equipment is accurate by reviewing the total loss valuation with the customer. Ensuring proper documentation of items.
Monitor and adjust reserves appropriately.
Requirements for success:
Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. College degree or vocational training preferred. Knowledge of CCC Valuation Methodology a preferred, but not required.
Previous customer service or insurance experience required.
Ability to make decisions, stay within authority levels and resolve conflicts.
Establishes, develops, and maintains professional working relationship with internal and external customers.
Knowledge of or willingness to acquire knowledge of policies, procedures, laws, statutes and insurance regulations.
Ability to set own priorities
Excellent verbal, written and active listening communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
