Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Total Loss Representative in Indianapolis, Indiana


We are looking for someone that can:

  • Investigate, evaluate, negotiate and conclude total loss claims. .

  • Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, laws, statutes and insurance regulations when conducting investigations and determining coverage.

  • Complete all aspects from total loss determination through settlement of assigned total loss claims.

  • Initiate contact with insureds, claimants, and all relevant parties to explain the overall total loss claims process.

  • Confirm all options, conditioning, equipment is accurate by reviewing the total loss valuation with the customer. Ensuring proper documentation of items.

  • Monitor and adjust reserves appropriately.

Requirements for success:

  • Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent. College degree or vocational training preferred. Knowledge of CCC Valuation Methodology a preferred, but not required.

  • Previous customer service or insurance experience required.

  • Ability to make decisions, stay within authority levels and resolve conflicts.

  • Establishes, develops, and maintains professional working relationship with internal and external customers.

  • Knowledge of or willingness to acquire knowledge of policies, procedures, laws, statutes and insurance regulations.

  • Ability to set own priorities

  • Excellent verbal, written and active listening communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.
