Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Product & Market Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana
Description
We are looking for someone that can:
Demonstrate the value of our Life Insurance product portfolio and how they can be utilized from both a death benefit and living benefit approach.
Support our field partners and help create solutions for our agents and marketing partners.
Complete competitive analysis related to our customers, products, product mix, demographic opportunities, distribution channels, and technological advances in life insurance sales.
Work to identify future sales concepts and opportunities.
Provide ideas related to future product development.
Create life insurance sales concepts.
Effectively train using various training methods such as: agent presentations, web conferencing, computer-based training, and one on one contact with agents.
Develop relationships throughout the industry, in both captive and independent marketing channels, to better gather information and analyze changes in the life industry.
Requirements for Success:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in business or related field of study.
3 years’ experience in the life insurance industry, with life insurance sales/marketing experience.
Insurance designation preferred (CLU), or pursuit of designation, if not already achieved.
Analytical skills to evaluate internal company data and present the data in a format that demonstrates accurate presentation of current customers, products, and profitability.
Knowledge of the life insurance industry, including product design/features, customer preferences, digital opportunities, and creative product/marketing solutions. Or the ability to secure the knowledge
Develop understanding of life and annuity product pricing and relationship to company investment strategy
Demonstrated ability to train adult learners and develop effective training programs
Excellent verbal, written and active listening communication skills to be able to effectively communicate with all business partners in a professional and productive manner
Effective presentation style in a variety of settings both internally and externally, with the ability to command attention, manage group processes and change tactics midstream.
Be a skilled negotiator in a variety of circumstances.
Demonstrate problem solving abilities.
