Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Product Manager - Commercial Lines in Indianapolis, Indiana
Description
We are looking for someone who can:
Develop and manage specific property & casualty lines of business by performing rate and product analysis.
Monitor profitability to achieve approved targets.
With guidance, develop new products.
Analyze products for efficiencies, appropriateness, serviceability, cost containment, and statute conformity.
Analyze and ensures adequate pricing.
Perform statistical research, data manipulation, project modeling and report generation.
Share responsibility with Product Managers for quality control, user access, user understanding, and usefulness of department reports.
Develops decision making ability and able to substantiate
Provide product support and training to multiple areas of the organization.
Identify and advise management on product and pricing issues when necessary.
Prepare and respond to filings, other regulatory inquiries and communications with the State Insurance Department and Rating knowledge through applicable training, designations, and/or certificate programs.
Requirements for Success:
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience with property and casualty insurance knowledge. Other desired coursework may include mathematics, statistics, computing, finance or other analytical topics.
3 years’ experience in the insurance industry.
Familiar with insurance products and regulations.
