Today, we are looking to hire a Manager of Payment Processing (Accounts Receivable). You will oversee the management of premium processing, receivable systems and drive/manage significant projects for the company! Position Summary:

  • Oversees the Management of the Payment Processing team and premium receipt processing systems.

  • Serves as the primary contact for financial institution and third-party vendors regarding credit card processing, remote deposit capture, lock boxing, and all transactions associated with moving funds in/out of the corporate accounts.

  • Serves as the receivable business expert and interacts with technical support to ensure the systems work appropriately, efficiently for all channels of receipts.

  • Supervises and evaluates daily and monthly account reporting ensuring accurate balancing is maintained.

  • Provides direction to the Manager I, Payment Processing regarding workflows and responsibilities.

  • Sets goals and performance standards for the team based upon corporate objectives.

  • Responsible for maintaining expenses and costs within budgetary guidelines.

  • Collaborates with leadership across the organization to implement new payment options and processes.

Minimum Knowledge & Requirements:

  • Bachelors’ degree in business or equivalent experience, Masters in business preferred.

  • CTP or CPA preferred.

  • Minimum 5 years’ business management experience; including supervisory experience.

  • Shows leadership qualities through prior team or project work.

  • Evidence of strategic planning coupled with detailed process guidance.

  • Requires a thorough knowledge of how financial institutions process receipts/deposits, returns, payment files.

  • Requires a thorough knowledge of accounting concepts and practices.

  • Ability to hire, monitor, coach, and measure employee work performance.

  • Demonstrated success working under pressure, meeting strict deadlines, and prioritizing multiple projects.

  • Requires initiative and judgment in making decisions within the scope of assigned authority; and the ability to substantiate these decisions.
