Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Life Service Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana



  • Processing in-force life insurance policy transactions.

  • Analyzing active and incoming life insurance policy information for accuracy.

  • Establishing, developing, and maintaining professional working relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Ensuring prompt and efficient service to provide a positive customer experience.

  • Effectively utilizing computer systems to process in-force life policy transactions.

  • Noting and correcting inaccuracies in records or reports to avoid a loss of time and money.

Requirements for Success:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent; with 1 year of relevant life insurance experience preferred.

  • Working knowledge of life insurance products, policies, and provisions.

  • Excellent listening, attention to detail, and verbal/written communication skills.

  • Proven success working under pressure, meeting strict deadlines, and prioritizing multiple projects while maintaining production service level expectations.

  • Ability to practice a high level of confidentiality and attention to detail.

  • Effectincey in utilizing computer systems for essential job functions, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and becoming familiar with Company processing systems as assigned.

  • Commitment to continual education through training programs in customer service, current or new products, and services.
