Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Insurance Service Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana



  • Managing and processing life insurance policy changes.

  • Determining and requesting the necessary documentation or paperwork needed to support a policy change.

  • Reviewing submitted documentation for accuracy and completion.

  • Responding to income emails, phone calls, and faxes promptly.

  • Calculating term conversion credits and agent's commissions.

Requirements for Success:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent; with 1 year of customer service experience, financial services experience is preferred.

  • Ability to learn our life products, policies, provisions, and regulatory guidelines quickly.

  • Excellent verbal/written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to actively listen.

  • Ability to manage complex tasks utilizing an intermediate math/accounting skillset.

  • Proper time management and the ability to meet deadlines.

  • Willingness to learn/retain utilization of computer systems essential for the job functions, including Microsoft Office, and internal processing systems.

  • Ability to practice a high level of confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail.
