Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Financial Reporting Analyst II in Indianapolis, Indiana
Description
We are looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst II to:
Develop effective, reliable processes, reports, and analysis to improve financial reporting and assist management in making sound business decisions.
Be responsible for continually improving processes, such as adding automation, addressing issues, and overcoming problems.
Collaborate with business partners to collect business requirements and convert them into functional requirements for process implementation and/or report creation.
Develop and conduct data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness for operational purposes.
Provide technical support on financial analysis projects.
Generate and interpret financial records and statements for management and industry regulators.
Analyze financial data in order to prepare financial reports.
Requirements for Success:
Bachelors’ degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline preferred.
2 to 5 years of accounting or adjacent experience in addition to degree.
Familiar with or able to learn statutory accounting.
Familiarity with insurance industry and products, or ability to learn.
Familiar with or able to learn statutory accounting.
Experience with accurately recording financial transactions on a timely basis.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Must be a self-starter with strong attention to details.
Well-versed and proficient with Microsoft Office Products.
CPA or CIA is preferred but not required.
