Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Commission Analyst in Indianapolis, Indiana
Description
We are looking for someone that can:
Administer the commission process and control the distribution of commissions as well as coordinates the accounts payables and receivables.
Provide pay recipients with detailed information which explains commission.
Produce analytical reports on commissions to management and responsible for the review and analysis of such reports.
Maintain the agency compensation systems.
Work with other areas throughout the company to control integrity of data feeding the compensation systems.
Work with Systems & Programming to complete changes to existing systems and develop new systems.
Provide reports and analysis of all sales compensation paid and analysis to determine impact of modifications to current compensation programs
Provide periodic reporting on agency financial activities from all streams of revenue and expense.
Serve as a resource for general accounting activities for agency, including working with agency management with bank accounts and financial issues.
Requirements for Success:
Requires a college degree in business or related field or equivalent. Equivalent work experience can be considered in place of a degree.
Requires 2 or more years of insurance industry experience.
Requires technical commission knowledge and/or payroll tax reporting knowledge, including an in- depth understanding of commission structures for both Life Insurance and Property & Casualty Insurance.
Ability to learn product portfolio.
Willingness to participate in self-study underwriting development program.
Interact with a variety of internal and external partners to ensure prompt and efficient service to our customers
Willingness to complete insurance related classes.
Practice of a high level of confidentiality critical.
Effective utilization of computer systems for essential job functions, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and become familiar with IFBI processing systems as assigned.
