Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Actuary in Indianapolis, Indiana
Description
We are looking for someone to:
Provide full range of actuarial services, including but not limited to predictive modeling analysis, actuarial studies, and reserve analysis.
Responsible for:
Developing and implementing predictive models that align with growth and profitability targets.
Ensuring that the Company's loss and LAE reserves are appropriate.
Supervise actuarial interns, actuarial analysts, and clerical support staff, as needed.
Engage in continuing education and professional development to remain current with regulatory changes and evolving actuarial theory and practice.
Requirements for Success:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
A fellow or associate designation of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
Demonstrated ability to meet the American Academy of Actuaries Qualification Standard for issuing an actuarial statement of opinion.
Must have effective utilization of computer systems including company and industry related software for essential job functions.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently with little supervision.
