Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance Actuary in Indianapolis, Indiana

Description

We are looking for someone to:

  • Provide full range of actuarial services, including but not limited to predictive modeling analysis, actuarial studies, and reserve analysis.

  • Responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing predictive models that align with growth and profitability targets.

  • Ensuring that the Company's loss and LAE reserves are appropriate.

  • Supervise actuarial interns, actuarial analysts, and clerical support staff, as needed.

  • Engage in continuing education and professional development to remain current with regulatory changes and evolving actuarial theory and practice.

Requirements for Success:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 5 years of related work experience.

  • A fellow or associate designation of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet the American Academy of Actuaries Qualification Standard for issuing an actuarial statement of opinion.

  • Must have effective utilization of computer systems including company and industry related software for essential job functions.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
