Responsible for the processing of new annuity applications and requests for changes, disbursement of values, and cancellations of existing annuity contracts and providing exceptional service via multiple communication channels to internal and external customers.
Requirements for Success:
Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent; 1-year of relevant Life and/or Annuity experience preferred.
Develops understanding of annuity products, policies and provisions and IRS codes and regulations.
Must be a positive influence in establishing, developing, and maintaining professional working relationships with internal and external customers to ensure prompt, efficient service and provide a positive customer experience.
Proven success working under pressure, meeting strict deadlines, and prioritizing multiple projects while maintaining production service level expectations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be skilled in attentive and acting listening, practice to hear people out by accurately restating to resolve customer concerns.
Continual participation in training programs for current and new products and services and other training, as required, to provide an excellent customer experience.
Attention to detail and accuracy is a must as errors could result in inaccuracies in records or reports as well as loss of time and money.
Practice of a high level of confidentiality is crucial.
