We are looking for a  Payment Consultant to process payments received by mail through the remittance processing equipment. Process exception payments for all lines of business through our Corporate systems. Promptly responds to customer inquiries both verbally and in writing.

 This is a part time position starting between 7:00 and 8:00 a.m. ending between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.Monday through Friday. A total of 30 hours per week

 We are looking for someone that can:

  • Open and process payments received by mail through the remittance processing system.
  • Enter premium payments directly into the Payment Entry system.
  • Balance daily deposits for payments entered into Payment Entry system or other systems.
  • Prepare items for bank deposit.
  • Provide appropriate responses when responding to internal clients.
  • Review accounts to verify entries have been entered accurately.
  • Check accounts for balancing purposes and make adjustments as needed.


 Requirements

  Do you have:

  • Requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous insurance, accounting, or banking experience is preferred, but not required
  • Basic computer knowledge concepts and use of the PC.
