We are looking for a Team Leader - Farm Underwriting to lead the Farm Underwriting team in implementing our Farm vision in underwriting by collaborating with others on policy issues and day-to-day management of the Farm Underwriting Team to meet or exceed corporate goals on profit and growth.

We are looking for someone who can:
* Supervise the Farm Underwriting team consisting of Farm Underwriters, Sr. Underwriters, and Associate Farm Underwriters to partner with Agents in quoting and servicing Farm business.
* Develop processes and procedures to ensure the Company meets goals for profit, growth, customer service, quality, loss ratios, and expense control.
* Work with management to define goals and objectives; monitors results and recommends corrective action as needed.
* Provide a high level of technical expertise and knowledge of Company and industry trends to maximize our overall performance and competitive position.
* Maintain effective lines of communication with the Farm Underwriting team, Agents, field staff, peers, and senior management


 Requirements
Do you have:
* A Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field of study.
* 5 years’ experience in P&C Underwriting with an emphasis on Farm, including strong knowledge of underwriting, coverage, pricing and risk management.
* Continuing advanced education and/or specialized professional training. Continuing professional development CPCU, other industry designations.
* Superior leadership, communication, and management skills in planning, organization, and leading with a focus on results, customer service and continuous improvement.
